**Hey, I'm Shelby.**

I'm a wedding photographer who loves to do creative shoots on the side. I never really thought I had a "creative vision" until I took Hunter Leone's (Three Nails Photography) workshop in March 2014. Since then, I've seen how fun it can be to come up with concepts, and my creativity has exploded. And that's not to sound like a snob, but that workshop really changed my outlook on my work. I am constantly coming up with random concepts, and just don't have a large variety of models to work with. So I'm really looking to start honing in on THE model I need for the specific ideas, and not just use whoever is near me. If I've got an awesome idea, I won't hesitate to pay a model. I haven't needed to yet, but open to it. Mostly though, I'm looking for TFP things. People who don't mind collaborating on my vision. I only do TFP if you are either: a very experienced model with an awesome idea, or it's my idea we're shooting.

My personality can be described as a quirky introvert. I'm a quiet observer. I don't bark out posing orders, I prefer to let the model do her thing, and I will shoot what looks best when the pose comes. If I have a pose in mind, I'll show you what I'm wanting and we'll go from there. When I'm shooting, you will absolutely know the *second* I get a great photo, because I will make a funny *squeee!* kind of noise. Haha! I'm not a girly girl, but I do get excited when I get that shot I was really really seeing in my head. And that's one thing I hope never changes about me and my work. I hope I never lose that excitement, I hope it never becomes a chore. I've been professionally shooting for 3 years, and really plan on growing a successful career out of it...whether it be weddings still, or whether it evolves into concepts for magazines. I have HUGE dreams and I intend to make them come true.
