BTW--in your profile, there's a place for you to put "credits"--feel free to add me in there. (You can look at my profile page, to see how I've used that section. I haven't updated in a while--but it'll give you an idea of what it can look like.) Adding that section can help you look more established. :)
You're off to a great start here--just be highly selective, when choosing photographers to work with, to keep your portfolio as "top drawer" as you can. Look for folks with images that are consistent, in quality--and who are shooting the types of things you want to shoot. The better the quality of images in your portfolio, and the more diverse they are (ie, the more photographers you have in it), the easier it'll be to keep moving up. :) (Also--it's a good idea to focus your work on photographers who provide a hair and makeup artist (MUA or HMUA)--professional hair and makeup makes a WORLD of difference to your final images. Even if you have to pay for someone to do your makeup (as long as you know their work!), it's worth it, to get the best possible images. :)
AND--don't forget to NETWORK!!!! Visit lots of photographers you like--and leave them insightful comments on their work. This will go a long way towards making you stand out from the rest of the crowd, and increase your chances of them wanting to work with you! (There are a LOT of pretty girls out there for them to pick from--you need to be extra special!)
