I am a commercial photographer specializing in industrial arts, food production and executive portraiture.

Living in the San Joaquin Valley has provided a backdrop for capturing images. I gained a strong work ethic alongside my relatives on the family farm, and applied these principles to my photography.

I began working professionally as a photojournalist for the Fresno Bee. During that time, National Geographic Traveler awarded me third place in their annual worldwide photo contest. The award inspired me to begin doing freelance photography for daily periodicals, including the Los Angeles Times, Orange County Star, Associated Press, San Francisco Chronicle, USATODAY, and others.

I obtained a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Photography & Digital Imagery, under scholarship from Art Center College of Design. In 2003, my images depicting valley life were featured in the photo book, “California 24/7,” a collaboration of 25,000 photographers documenting “A day in the life,” across the U.S. After obtaining my BFA, I worked with some of the top automotive photographers in Los Angeles.

All of these experiences have defined my style, work ethic and ever-evolving craft of making fine photographs.
