I am an artist photographer who is building her portfolio. I am self-taught and considered a mature artist, I started late. I found my way to photography after
many years of traditional, corporate, work. I very much had a creative side that I did not acknowledge. I
actually received my degree in business management which seems so utterly converse to who I really
am. Sometimes it feels bad, that I started so late. Yet, as artists, as humans, we all have limitations and
challenges to overcome. Mine has forced me to dedicate and focus my life in a very concentrated
manner towards the intense psychological and technical skill required for photography. It’s the immense
pleasure from the pain and frustration that compels me to continue and I hope it is what compels others
to appreciate the image in front of them.
As an artist, I like to convey a sense of quiet and simplicity. The subject of the photo is portrayed as
simple and universal yet special in their own way.
