About Me

My name is Grayson and I'm a North Carolina portrait photographer. Active in the Raleigh/Durham area, I aim to collaborate with other creatives who wish to harness the power of the human form as a vessel to evoke artistic expression and aren't afraid to lend themselves to vulnerability and experimentation when it comes to making emotive art. The weirder, the better. I travel throughout North Carolina regularly and am also willing to travel out of state for paid work or for select mutually beneficial and well-inspired TFP projects. While this is my photography profile, I have some modeling experience as well and am interested in collaborating on ideas to help expand that portfolio.

Behind the lens, my personal tastes for consumption are fashion and editorial portraiture, conceptual work, and dark fine art but enjoy shooting some of everything. A current goal of mine is to gain further experience in the realm of art direction, set design, and shooting more conceptual portraiture & fashion editorials. When working on concepts, I've created my own props or source them from independent artists. I'd like to meet and network with other artists to see what collective goals we can help each other fulfill.

I began dabbling into boudoir photography in 2017 and have more recently begun expanding my creative aptitudes by getting my feet wet in fine art (implied) nude, fetish & sensual art. Being said, I'm still relatively new to shooting these genres and have a lot of artistic exploring to embark on. However, I'm only willing to shoot genres you already have experience in (via as seen in your portfolio) and concepts you are completely comfortable with. I prefer to discuss and agree on all concept ideas between involved parties prior to the shoot beginning. I'm a pretty chill person but still find it important to exercise a good degree of professionalism on all sets and projects, and expect the same from any creative I collaborate with, no matter what the concept or subject matter of the project is.

IMPORTANT: I believe that communication is extremely important tool and encourage everyone I work with to feel comfortable and confident enough to speak up. If you ever become uncomfortable on set, please express so immediately so we can find a solution to the problem or stop shooting. I have occasional anxiety attacks and will completely understand if breaks need to be taken or if emergencies arise. All boundaries are expected to be respected by all parties. I will never ask you to continue shooting if you express you are uncomfortable or injured in any way.

If we are working on a limited TFP project together, it is to be understood that time and resources are too valuable to be wasted, and it's expected that all collaborators show the same commitment to the project after production has begun.

-------------No offense to any aspiring models, but I work not with anyone under 18 on any boudoir, implied, or even remotely sensual concept work.----------------------

For faster contact, please email me via my website @ OR find me on Instagram: @vernal.lamb [My instagram is still active but I've been taking a much-needed hiatus lately.]
>>>No offense to anyone, but if you only want to work together to get free uninspired photos for social media, I can smell your type from a mile away and probably won't care to work with you.<<<

Motto: Be genuine, be kind. If we have the same motivations and passion for art and you think our art styles might be compatible, I'd love to hear from you!
