Rahkua began modeling at the age of 16 when she was approached by Jodi Models in Jackson, MS. From that first runway show and photoshoot Rahkua found that she was able to captivate audiences with her unique look and killer catwalk.

William Shakespeare said it best, "All the world's a stage", and Rahkua definitely applies this to her life and extends it: Every sidewalk is her runway. Thus, not surprisingly, many of the opportunities she has gotten to appear in runway shows, even at her unconventional height, have been from chance meetings - from walking down her highschool hallways getting asked to begin the whole journey, to walking down the streets of New York gettin asked to do a show in Times Square, to gaining the attention and adoration of an indie designer on a subway platform in Paris, France (and walking in his show the next weekend as a result!).

With her recent move to Los Angeles, Rahkua is excited to discover new heights in both runway and print, and has gotten the opportunity to walk in LA Fashion Week for the first (but definitely not last) time, and work with some amazing designers and photograhers to continue building her portfolio/honing her craft.
