Born and raised in South Florida, Matt always had a penchant for creativity and self expression. Even as a kid growing up, he never left the house without a camera in tow. He'd love to catch someone in an act of raw emotion and photograph strangers and places, finding noteworthy moments everywhere he looked. A true observer at heart, he prefers to be behind the lens rather than anywhere else.

He studied Photography at The Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale, absorbing all of the art and design elements he could get his hands on. After graduating, Matt worked at several regional magazines alongside some the of the industry's finest photographers, sharpening his skills, knowledge, and love for the craft. Whether he was in a studio or walking down the streets of South Florida, he enjoyed capturing amazing moments of life unfolding right before his eyes. He still does.

Matt's background in visual arts have helped shape his photographic style. This aesthetic has translated into his recent focus of capturing people, products and lifestyles for advertising and editorial clients.
