Little More of This and a Little less of that

As we lie here in the dark and the moonlight streams in the window
You let your hands trace my full hips and round bottom and you whisper softly in my ear
I wouldn’t be able to stay away from you if you were a little more of this and a little less of that
Does it matter that we can talk for hours about everything and we trust each other with all our secrets
Does it matter when we’re alone that I make you quiver; that you look at me with those soft baby eyes and caress me with your soft baby touch brushing my hair away from my face and planting soft sweet kisses all over me
You think if we were both better versions of ourselves things might be different
Do outside influences on what is beautiful have you reluctant to show your true affection?
Every now and then time stands still long enough for you to glance across the room at me and wink or share a warm smile
Why are you under the impression that you deserve better than me?
I have dreams and goals just like you.
Do you feel guilty about being so shallow?
