Hi! I'm Derek and I'm a photographer based out of Vancouver, BC

Photography has been my passion for several years now and it's a hobby I get great enjoyment out of.

I started my photography days back in high school experimenting with film and eventually contributing photos to our yearbook. Through grad school, I always kept a camera on the side and continued shooting.

While starting off with mostly landscapes and inanimate objects, I've progressed into shooting people and living things. I've been a model photographer for about 2 years now!

My long term goal is to continue shooting models in unique and artistic ways while taking on more paid gigs to recoup the high cost that comes with professional photography.

I strive myself on shooting 'outside the box' concepts.There are too many 'cookie cutter' shoots out there and adding some creativity keeps it exciting and interesting. Some of my favourite shoots include:

- Street Fashion/Street Portraits

- Neon body painting

- Bodyscaping

- Time lapses!
