My name is Laura Moya and I am a makeup artist born in Dominican Republic. I have been obsessed with makeup since I was a 3 year old girl playing with my mom's makeup while she was at work. At the age of 9 my skin changed and it became acne-prone. That forever has influenced my inclination towards beautifying skin through my craft.

By the time I was 12 I already owned a full set of Estee Lauder makeup that I got as a gift from my beloved grandmother, I used it to do my full face as well as doing makeup on all my friends. During all of my high school and college years I was always the go-to girl to anything beauty related, specially painting faces.

After graduating college with a major in Business I started working as a professional makeup artist bringing my vision of fresh, fun makeup to the scene in Santo Domingo, a first timer for a culture more comfortable with classic beauty. A few years later, with the arrival of M.A.C. Cosmetics to my country, I was blessed enough to be selected as a part of the original team, where for 4 years I received intensive education as well as invaluable experience. All this was combined with constant side projects doing makeup for magazines, private clients, fashion shows, as well as appearances in TV shows, a segment on a radio show and writing beauty articles for magazines.

I am currently in New York City, looking forward to meet special people and finally give life to the portfolio of my dreams.
