Hi! Please call me Mango.. I'm an amateur Lifestyle and fitness model based in the Portland Oregon area and am available for shoots all over the broad Portland area.

Individuality, energy, imagination and creativity are the drives and definitions I live life by. Why work with me? I am interested in the most creative aspects of photography and would like to become art in your portfolio exploring ideas such as fire, space, geometrical concepts, intense use of color, and fantasy. My incredible flexibility and ideas for shoots will create very interesting pieces.
I am an avid swimmer, I adore fire, and am a natural tomboy with an hourglass shaped body frame.

Outside modeling, I make my own websites with HTML5 and CSS3 from scratch. I am a complete whiz at Photoshop and have great ease with Illustrator. I also have experience with Maya3D and Adobe AfterEffects. I excel at creating intricate three-dimensional models in Maya, as well as highly realistic textures for these models.

I had the great pleasure of working for Netgear in Santa Clara designing web pages for iPhone, iPad and Android devices. I've been a music composer since I was 14 years old and have composed soundtracks for animations and radio. In fact I once hosted, arranged, and composed soundtracks for my own live FM radio show. I would be happy to compose custom soundtrack music for any commercial or non-commercial purpose. The creative arts are my forte and natural domain. I'm a hands-on person and have an entrepreneurial spirit and a positive attitude!



-GOALS in modeling:
In terms of modeling, my goals include to be a model for sports bras, sports wear, shoes, yoga clothes, cars, gym supplements, or even also be a Parts model for hands, feet, or other parts. Eventually I would like to be appear as a model in a small sports or swimsuit magazine along with a written interview section. This is probably one of my greatest goals in modeling.

-REASONS for being in MM:
An old fitness friend of mine Maria Mobasseri introduced me to Model Mayhem and I saw the great opportunities it brought, obviously I would like to connect and find work through here, as well as find meaningful assignments and meet interesting people.

-PAST EXPERIENCE:
I have worked with Aaron Wilson of Digitally Inclined Photography and have also had other smaller assignments with other photographers throughout time, but am now looking for representation in known websites, or opportunities to model clothing and appear perhaps in a catalog or an ad.

•Convenient self-makeup: No need for hair or makeup artists, I can do my own hair and makeup with great ease to whatever style you might need. I bring makeup with me and can change look rapidly.

•No retouching needed- I always desire the raw photos produced. (I am a pro at photoshop and don't expect nor desire retouched photos. I like to see reality and touch things up on my own very happily!)

• Serious inquiries only, I don't do more than is described here. I will not chat about anything other than the shoot. I don't expect to talk about what I do for fun, my favorite drink or silly unrelated things.(It's happened to me before unfortunately that's why I say).

• Trying to get me to do nudes is a waste of both our times since I can't associate my name with any nude pics of me sorry.

•Please simply inquire with the Type of shoot desired, Address or location of the place you want to shoot at, and a Time.

•I like to work with photographers that both Understand and also Prefer to work with the type of model I am. The best pictures definitely come from a "shared vision". I'm NOT good with "dainty skinny concealer" or "vacant stare" shoots.
I'm all the opposite: sweaty, raw, flexible, and fitness oriented. Consider the phrase "birds of a feather fly together" thanks.


-FURTHER THOUGHTS if you'd like to learn more:
....I get along best with individuals that push the envelope in the portrayal of women as People and not only have "one thing in mind", or are aiming for a very manicured plastic look. That's not who I am. Instead, think of me as the weapon in your arsenal for the all the odd, rough, edgy, progressive, in action, the unusual and grimey assignments you need a female to perform.

But don't get me wrong, I will still very gladly model a dress, no worries on that. I am also ethnic-oriented and love wearing outfits from around the world, or nature themes, forest, beaches, climbing, swimming, etc.
Parts modeling is another forte of mine. I've been told my feet and hands are very beautiful, (so, I can model sandals and foot jewelry beautifully), as well as my hair which looks like a shampoo model in real life (so I can promote shampoo and conditioner products), and lips for lipstick. I can model cars in a swimsuit (I love this!!), musical instruments, pose as an actress, wear a costume, body paint, work with millions of props or ideas, you name it, I'm really a "jill-of-all-trades". Much more than just a mannequin. .....The right photographer will acknowledge my thoughts and appreciate my angle in this industry. Women like me are few.

Gary Juncosa, a kind photographer friend I am grateful to, also helped me start my portfolio and is responsible for many of the pieces here, amazing natural talent as a photographer. If he wanted to, I feel he could rapidly go on to be a professional.
