As a filmmaker I look to represent real spaces and real people on their own terms. Talent and locations are carefully curated, but only to the extent that they accentuate the existing attributes of each. There is less emphasis on traditional styling and traditional standards of beauty. Casting is the core of this process and it requires a very open mind to the right talent. Model Mayhem has a very diverse range of talent to choose from ranging from the traditional models (which is great), but I am more interested in the people who may not be the obvious first choice, but are the perfect fit.
