About Me

Being a hairstylist wasn't a career I had ever planned for myself or even considered as something people would pay me to do when I just enjoyed doing it. I've always been an artistic and creative person; always playing with my dolls and friends hair, giving Barbie fun and "chic" haircuts and styles from the young age of 6, and the "go-to" person for my friends whenever they wanted their hair styled just for fun or an event or night out.

My journey as a hairstylist began 6 years ago at the Chris McMillan Salon in Beverly Hills, CA. The road to finding my true passion in hair didn't start too far away. In 2006 I enrolled at The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in Downtown Los Angeles to study visual communications. From there I took my skills to PR and worked with designers such as Elie Saab, Talbot Runhof, and Paul Ka. My time doing that was great and I learned so much but felt like I needed more other than just assisting in dressing clients in these beautiful pieces of art. I wanted to have my hands on the final product, the hair in particular so I decided to go back to school and try my skills in cosmetology.

Continuing my education while building my clientele at the Chris McMillan Salon was a wonderful experience. I worked along side some of the most professional and creative minds in the business. Now an established stylist working at Ramirez Tran in Beverly Hills I am starting to crave something extra a little more creative besides the pretty blow outs and subtly curled hair. I am reaching out to Model Mayhem to help assist me in finding those other jobs. The ones that will put my extensive experience in fashion and hair to work and photograph it.
