I think most creators would agree that categories are restrictive and I'm not fond of limits so I'm grateful for this space to share what I'm about.

First, although this is my profile and ALL of the information, ideas, preferences and work displayed are solely mine, I am part of a team with my lovely, beautiful and creative wife, Katy. We have our own ideas, preferences and styles as well as creative desires but we collaborate and support each other as any business partners and spouses would and work together on every shoot where possible.

My background - I started with illustration and moved into architectural design-I've had some formal training in both. I have 20+ years experience with printing first in print shops then technical. I currently work at a high level with digital printing and document software. Although my professional path detoured for quite some time, my passion to create continued.

I started pursuing digital photography and artwork as a creative outlet and have recently turned professional. People are a passion for me. Meeting new minds, engaging in creative pursuits, constructing illusions. I like different. I learn from everyone I meet.

I have two concurrent goals that may not be in the same direction but they're tied together and vital for my continued success. First, I must run my business - although I continue to grow artistically with it, there are sometimes limitations to experimental subject matter or methods or new concepts to explore. So my second goal is purely artistic and will allow for personal expression and exploring new concepts.

On Model Mayhem, I wish to find distinctive models, unique artists to collaborate with, MUA's with style... Although there will be some paid gigs, many will be TFP or TFCD as I look to grow my portfolio and experiment with portraiture and digital art. I do not wish to take advantage of anyone and seek mutually beneficial arrangements for all involved. Currently, I need to expand my offerings as a portrait photographer so I am looking for models and MUAs for the following types of shots: Artistic & fantasy (similar to cosplay), studio portraits, boudoir (implied & tasteful nude), maternity, etc. I take a lot of family portraits so I'm interested in anything outside of this. I am looking for men and women, all ethnicities, looks anywhere from glamour to alternative.

I am very open to collaboration on other's ideas. I know many models have concepts they want to work out-contact me! I love this type of work and exposure. Are you a MUA that needs to grow your portfolio? Let's get together and make it happen!
