Christina Nehrling has performed in plays, musicals, and operas with Longview Community Theatre, Opera East Texas, Shreveport Opera, and even acted recently in a film, A Shade of Dawn, released by AVoice Productions. Christina Nehrling has been married for 17 years, and sometimes models for Matt Nehrling, local photographer.

Christina Nehrling earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music in 1999 from East Texas Baptist University, studying voice. She performed along with Jim Moore's East Texas Baptist University Chorale in various churches in Europe, as well as at Texas Music Educators Association Convention in San Antonio. Christina Nehrling earned her Master of Arts in Teaching in 2008 from Texas Woman's University with teaching certification in Music, Early Childhood to Grade 12. She has taught in private Montessori schools, Music, Spanish, and Motor Skills, children 18 months to grade 6, public schools, Choir and Piano Lab, grades 6 to 8, Christian schools, Music, grades K4, K5, 1-5, and Theatre Arts, 7-12, as well as substitute taught in public schools, varied subjects, grades Kindergarden to grade 12.
