Akmal Rakhimov is a trilingual actor/model/dancer based in New York City. Originally from Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Akmal has performed a variety of dramatic roles in the repertory of the city's internationally acclaimed Ilkhom Theatre of Mark Weil. A graduate from the 7th studio Ilkhom Theatre of Mark Weil School of Drama, Akmal is trained in fighting, stage combat, fencing, singing, dancing, elocution, mastery of acting and plastics. Fluent in Russian and Uzbek and competent in English, Akmal can frequently be heard on Tashkent's main radio station, Radio MAXIMA; he is also frequently seen on Uzbek telephone and internet commercials.
