As a photographer, “I seek to always celebrate everything real and exquisite about the subject, to allow the inner glow and beauty to shine through without having to change person that they are.”

Photography has taught me so much and given me a life that I never thought was possible. It has allowed me to live a fuller life through the experiences I have while shooting. It has also revealed to me a lot more about the person that I am.

Along the way, I have also met many incredible people some of whom are great friends now.

I love capturing people and their relationship, and I find it important to capture the person or couple for who they are and not how I see and define them. Sincere and real – that’s the key. To capture the chemistry the couple share and to highlight the emotions they have and the feelings they have of the other.

To almost the same degree, I am also concerned about the composition of the shot. I love getting creative with angles and viewpoints. There are so many ways to view a subject and I love to explore them all. As such, I lie on the floor, grass and mud. Get myself into a river if I need to. Climb up stairs and bridges and start shooting at insanely early hours of the morning. Creative and interesting compositions always draw the viewer in for a closer look.

Very often, we take the ones we love the most, most for granted. I would like for couples and individuals to celebrate what they have. Being together and staying in love requires us to beat the odds. I like to believe that there is always more going against you in a relationship than for.

However, being in love somehow allows us to overcome these odds. To me, every marriage or partnership is a beautiful miracle.
