About Me

Nicole Keating is a Chicago-based model focusing on cosplay, burlesque, and pin-up modeling.

Highly trained in acting and dance, she began modeling at a young age for play posters and promo materials. In pursuit of musical theatre, Nicole discovered burlesque dance as a college student and fell in love! The glamor, the glitter, the nudity! She began performing burlesque in 2010 (under the stage alias Minnie Minx). Pin-up modeling followed shortly thereafter.

Since then, she has posed for pin-up shoots (including calendars), boudoir sessions, paintings, and independent art & photography projects.

Nicole is also an avid cosplayer and dedicated nerd. Her blog, TheFakeGeekGirl.com, explores all things that combine the geeky and the feminine, and her media brand of the same name produces comedy podcasts, webseries, and other hilarious delights. She would love to model her cosplay more professionally in addition to on the con floor.
