I have always had a passion for colour, and painting was my first form of expression. It wasn't until I turned eight that i found my mothers make up kit in the bathroom drawer. I "painted" my face and I felt powerful doing it. By a flick of a brush I was able to become anyone I wanted to be.
When I felt fierce I wore red lip stick, when I felt relaxed I wore warm natural tones. Make up and application brought myself happiness so I wanted to pay it forward and bring happiness to others.
I have recently started my professional career in make up but, have been displaying my talents for years on friends and family.
Make up is not something that creates beauty, but rather enhances it. I feel it important to empower clients to be who ever they want to be, and if a flick of a brush can be that push, then hey why not!
I believe I would be a valued member of Model Mayhem because even though I have the power through the brush I allow my clients to express themselves through my makeup
