I have over seven years worth of photography/videography experience, from behind-the-scenes & event photography to hair salon calendar, family, sports, model & high fashion shoots. I have had 10 years modeling/acting experience prior to becoming a professional photographer, which gives me experience from both points of views on the camera. I aim to spread awareness through visual art & promoting self-improvement. Art, film, fashion, philantropy are all passions of mine & are expressed through my photography. Photography has become my life, hence my life is photography. Gordon Parks, Harry Belafonte, Micheal Kenneth Williams, Dick Gregory, Spike Lee, Will Smith, Robert De Niro Sr., Ansel Adams & Jean-Michel Basquiat are some of my inspirations. I am a RAW artist. I was always an artist, I like to draw. Drawing led to drafting, then architecture. Abstract painting was developed while working as a carpenter. My early interest in fashion led to modeling, while my extreme interest in film(s) led to acting in various plays. In pursuing a career in acting & modeling, I lived in Hollywood for a year & returned unsuccessful as an actor, but with a passion for film making. Actor turned Director. I wanted to capture everything that I saw & encountered on film. I had to get a camera & I did. In the process of using the camera for filming, I found & developed my unconditional love for photography.
