In addition, she hosts corporate panel discussions, latest a Financial Segment with GMA's Mellody Hobson & John Rogers. She was featured in Donny Yardes video, "So We Rock It". Avanna was the leading spokes models for Queen’s Fashion Week as well as a runway model for various fashion shows throughout the New York and Kansas City area.

She is no stranger to the stage having started her entertainment career at age 4, with Elaine Enyard School of Dance - Jazz, Ballet and Tap. She played piano and guitar from the age of 4.
