I am Iman and I am a beauty enthusiast, as well as a skin therapist in training (aka esthetician). I have an affinity for most things creative and a passion for beauty, particularly make-up. I am an aspiring make-up artist, that believes that make-up is a only one a vessel to enhance the natural beauty that each individual possess.

I enjoy make-up because it is limitless path, and that is the type of artist that I intend to be--limitless.There is always an opportunity and way for me to learn and stretch myself further. I may wonder how I will meet the challenge initial, but I am always willing to try. I joined because I want to expand my network by connecting with other creatives, learn about different techniques and product in makeup & photography to better my work,as well as myself. I am also seeking to build my portfolio.

I am most interested make-up artistry in the areas in fashion/glamour, editorial, creative, bridal,portraits and lifestyle. However, I am open to learning & participating in new things. While on photo-shoots, I would enjoy working with diverse group of talented, opened-minded people. My hope is that by doing so I will be able to expand my artistry range and published work (i.e.- print, digital, live).

I am inspired by patterns on clothing, skylines and lifestyle & scenic photography. Most of my experience in make-up comes from working with friends or friends of friends for special occasions and events. That is why I am here-- to build & develop my skill set, as well as partake in various opportunities that will afford me growth. I have also worked on a small fashion show as a MUA as well. As for compensation, I am open to trading time for services or monetary payment. Currently my availability is flexible, with most of my time being open during the day during the week and more so open during the weekend. I do have a dependable means of transportation and am willing to travel throughout the boroughs of New York City, as well as some parts of NJ, Long Island and Westchester County. I am open to traveling outside of NYC/NJ proper for the appropriate opportunity, which at that time a discussion about a fair means of compensation can be further discussed.
