Over 30 years ago I learnt and applied the principles of photography and film-making at university. I believe those years of study and splashing around with chemicals and photographic paper in a darkroom have given me an experiential edge over the digital-only generation.

I have since those university days, spent a couple of decades working across a range of industries and professions. That broad range of experience is now invaluable as a professional photographer.

Four years ago, I chose to pursue my passion, which is also my mission: to bring Joy through the professional creation of photographs. That's when I created John Bova Photography.
