About Me

Me? I'm just here to take pictures.

It is my job to see beauty in everything, in any given moment, whether angelic or macabre.

I have minimal problems coming up with creative ideas and am always willing to listen to yours. I like the ideas of shoots that tell stories, but I'm more than happy to be flexible. Though, truth be told, when working with new models I tend to prefer to begin with a casual portfolio for portfolio shoot to see how we work together and discuss something more professional from there. It helps to break the ice and feel each other out - and see if there is even a professional rapport. Personally, I haven't always liked all of my co-workers at every job I've ever had, and I'm sure it is the same with you, as you most likely also have a day job. Further, if we ever decide to do a shoot on the sexy side, it'll help you to be more comfortable.

Definitely willing to do portfolio for portfolio with a good team. Though, those will likely be fairly casual as I'll probably reserve all of my better creative ideas for shoots which involve money. I also have no problem selling my services to businesses along with travel expenses and compensation for the models. In other words, if I'm working with other professionals we can build each other up, but if I get paid, then they get paid. Businesses should expect to pay.... though designers, jewelers, etc can negotiate a particular mutual aid collaboration. Love the idea, actually, and especially enjoy the idea of helping talented locals who are trying to get their start or make their mark.

If I am paying a model, I will probably be reserving the rights to the shots, as I am likely intending to sell the product either for print or advertisement (or being paid, myself, by a designer or the like for a specific product.) If you want headshots or portfolio work, we can do a trade shoot or you can enlist my services.

If I've sent you a random add, it is probably because I was looking for models and thought to myself, "S/he might be useful in the future" but didn't wish to utilize one of my limited messages or didn't have a specific idea for you. Either that, or I just respected your work, but the difference there-in is negligible. Don't be shy about dropping me a line.

For that matter, if you have an idea and need a "hired gun", don't be shy even if I wasn't the first to add or contact you. Even if I don't necessarily have an idea specifically suited for you, I don't necessarily mind the idea of coming to a mutually beneficial arrangement that makes your idea a reality.

This said, my business partner and I will be needing collaborators for both future prints and for some burlesque, swimsuit, lingerie, and pin-up shoots we want to do for prints and calendars. Anyone interested in modeling or otherwise collaborating should notify me.

Further, while it isn't my strongest desire, I've thought about doing some editorial work for no other reason than to be able to claim the credentials. This likely isn't the avenue for those without a little bit of a portfolio already, but if someone with some skill, ability, and likely experience wishes to entertain this path, we can talk.

Ladies, you can bring an escort if you want especially if they are willing to help out instead of just standing there looking stupid. I will, however, be armed if we are shooting on location, so, if I were crazy, it is sort of a moot point. All of the models I've worked with have made it out alive, and some are credited in my MM portfolio for you to be able to double check on that. I actually strongly recommend you go through proper channels to carry a weapon legally and do just that. Believe me, I won't take it personally and if any one does it might should raise eyebrows. I've actually done shoots where more people who were involved were armed than were not. There was a lot of firepower there that day. I laugh thinking about it. Welcome to Tennessee, where even our models pack heat.

I typically do my own retouching, but might entertain the idea of working with a skilled retoucher in the future, especially if only for shared credit to get exposure in different areas. Thanks to email and Google drive, that likely helps you more than me, but it really does boil down to building a name. At any rate, It is an element to the art I certainly respect.

I have several MUAs available that I have promised trade work (if nothing else) and would be willing to add to that list should either be relevant. Hair might be a bit more strict in terms of scheduling.

Artistically, I often entertain and favor a dark and sensual flavor, but try to remain flexible.
