My name is Jessica and I’m a photographer. I was born and raised in Alaska, where I believe it was the incredible scenery that inspired me to find ways of making a permanent record of natures wonders. Instead of paint and canvass I chose to use the camera lens as my medium for encapsulating beauty. My service in the United States Navy took me to inspiring places and taught me the intricacies of the human condition which, again, I began to capture with my camera. I have travelled, hiked, climbed and done whatever it took to capture those awe-inspiring moments to record on film for posterity. I enjoy the study of the human form, the wonders of nature and simply to captivate a moment in time. My work in photography is an important means of expression for me to present the world as I see it. I like nothing better than when one of my images is the center of attention in any discussion . I consider photography to be an art and as such it is my passion. I am patient and considerate but very driven to accomplish beauty and expression in photography.
