If you are looking here, good job! I want to be the last photographer you will ever need! I don't have a niche, I know it's a risk, but I genuinely am open to any and all photographic challenges.

Anyway, my name is Steve. I'm a former Marine, and have been residing in Hawaii for 8 years now. I've taken photos of everything from wildlife and landscapes, Marines in combat in Iraq and Afghanistan, newborn babies, weddings, couples, solo, you name it!

Why I'm a photographer: Especially because of my background, I honestly never thought I would want to be a photographer, I felt like I was more of an actor/director kind of person. But, I picked up a photography job while I was working on my Bachelor's degree at HPU, At my time there, I've done literally thousands of photo-sessions with a vast variety of styles and requests. It struck me that I needed to be a photographer when I was doing some sunset photos for a couple visiting from Korea, and they kept showing increasing enthusiasm with every photo I took. During the photo-session, they explained to me that they were on their honeymoon and that in their two weeks in Hawaii, everything had gone wrong, weather inhibited their cruise and scuba dives, rain prevented them from hiking, almost nothing had gone in their favor. At the end of the session, both the husband and the wife were in tears after seeing my work on the computer screens, and said that the beautiful time they had with me and the pictures I did for them, made up for the everything else that had happened on the trip! They also said they never knew that a photographer could be so passionate, friendly, and patient with their work. In every photo-session that I do, I strive to bring out that same wow factor that I did for them, I want your experience with me to not only produce amazing photos, but be a beautiful and positive experience for you as well!
