About Me

Sir Frederick Charles Krueger; noted Child Psychologist and philanthropist until he was terribly burned in a blast furnace accident while visiting a child labour work house in 1884.
Throughout his recovery he watches the death and suffering of children in the newspapers and in the streets below his offices, and as insanity grabs hold he begins to believe the misery of the children to be self inflicted. He believes that the children need to be alleviated of this pain. He believes he is their saviour and he needs to claim their souls.
From his offices on Elm Street, near Great Ormond Street Hospital, he casts a dark veil over the grime covered buildings of Victorian London.
Stalking his prey with his custom built glove sporting original Victorian cut throat razors, he claims the souls of the lost children of London.
The slices of his blades are thin and scalpel like, so for amusement, he even claims the lives of some women and lets the Ripper take the blame.

Steampunk Freddy is a creation I came up with through my life long love of the Nightmare on Elm Street films and my involvement in the Steampunk subculture.

The mask is face fitting latex that moves to my face muscles, but I keep the leather mouth mask over as it is the character's respirator from his destroyed lungs. The goggles can be on or off, as can the hat.

****NB I'm due to get the mask fitted with an additional flap of "skin" at the back to hide some of my head which is currently exposed. Please check with me before confirming other aspects of the shoot.****

I created Steampunk Freddy because I wanted to and enjoy to shoot. However, I have two children that I raise alone which would need child care and I have to pay for repairs to the outfit and replacements. As such, I find working for TF extremely difficult. Costs would be kept to a minimum, but I've found that around £20ph covers the costs of travel, parking, food, child care, wear and tear on the outfit etc.

Despite Freddy being the physical embodiment of evil - a demon cursed to walk the Earth, if you will - I'm an amiable chap, easy to talk to and very easy going. I have my own photography business, so I know what it's like to supervise models. I can pose myself, but accept direction with good humour and Victorian etiquette.

I'm interested in mutual collaborations with models who could play a viable victim, hero to fight, other bad guy to ally with - like a Jason vs Freddy style thing, maybe.
