There are three reasons to live: art, love, and the love of art. Unfortunately, there's something called a stomach, and to keep it fed, many make compromises. So do I. During most of my waking hours, I am crunching numbers on a spreadsheet, dying to get out of the infernal cubicle at the end of a workday. When I have time to myself, I am usually found with my nose buried in 19th century English and American literature. There's also the odd occasion that I will pick up a camera. My photography is heavily influenced by the characters and scenes painted by my favorite authors.

Recently I participated in a workshop and came across a number of models and photographers who use Model Mayhem. They recommended the site. I think this will be a good way to connect with other artists (models and photographers) and will facilitate collaboration.
