About Me

I started taking pictures in my teens. Everywhere I went, I always had a camera. Never anything professional though. Around 2007 I got my first DSLR. I quickly taught myself basics of photography, and went from there. Luckily, I have a friend(who is a member of this site) who is a model, and she let me practice on her. We did quite a few shoots, and I am pleased with the outcome. I went off and started doing family portraiture and landscapes for a while, but recently discovered family portraits just aren't for me. I like the excitement and creative possibilities shooting models. They know how to get the correct shot you're looking for and it helps tremendously that you don't have to coach poses. I'd like to do more of that in the future.
