Hi, I'm Dan. I'm a street/portrait photographer working out of southern California. A few of my photos have won awards from the City of Ventura and others have been displayed in a few local art shows. I try to create images that speak for themselves. Whether in studio or out on location, my goal is to capture the part of people and places that may often be overlooked. Eventually I'd like to pursue a career in fine art and fashion photography but for now I simply take photos for fun and try to push the limits of what I've learned to grow in the craft. It's sometimes difficult for me to find others to work with, so I'm giving Model Mayhem a try. In the past I've shied away from MM because I've heard it's full of creeps and pic collectors and I don't want to be associated with people like that.
