I have a discerning eye towards detail and want to try different creative techniques in a studio setting all the while being sensitive to my client’s wishes and desires. I strive to produce unique photos for the unique you.

After the photos are taken and the best ones edited and post-processed you will receive a selection which will be uploaded to a private online gallery on my website where you can choose which ones you want to use. Here you can download one or all for personal use on your desktop, social media page or online portfolio.

ALASKA GLAMOUR AND PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER
I’ve always had a love of photography and have been involved with it as a hobby throughout my life. Years ago I shot glamour and portraits using slide and print film. I’m now going digital as I get back into portraits.

I’m in the process of setting up a small studio in midtown Anchorage. Currently I’m looking for models interested in time for pictures (TFP) as I get used to doing studio work digitally, dial in my equipment and proceed to grow my digital portfolio of portrait photos.

I’m open to your ideas. Let’s hear them. Let’s talk. Let’s have some fun doing a great shoot.

INFO ABOUT DOING A SHOOT
Concerning safety (yours and mine) and meeting strange people - I can have a female accompany me.

When meeting for the first time we can meet in a public place, for example, over coffee. We can go over particulars of a potential shoot, swap ideas and share what each expects to get out of the shoot. Meeting beforehand can also help all parties feel more comfortable with each other.

I welcome a chaperone to the first meeting if the model chooses. A chaperone can also come with the model to the studio to see where she/he will be at during the shoot. I do ask that the chaperon not be in the studio during the shoot. This is to lessen any disturbance and to the make the shoot more productive. I have a small studio and it is ‘all’ studio. There is no lobby or proper sitting area. Chaperones are welcome to wait in the car outside or to go across the street and get coffee. They can come back when the shoot is finished.

The exception to this would be models that are under the legal age of eighteen. Parental permission is required and a parent or a legal guardian must be present at all times during the shoot with a minor.

Overall, I’m looking to have a positive, fun, learning experience for all involved; for the model to experience quality time in front of a camera while subsequently increasing his/her portfolio and for me to gain experience in studio digital photography while building my portfolio. It will be a win win for both parties.
