About Me

I learned to shoot on a vintage Mercury II 35mm rangefinder film camera.  It helped me understand how depth of field, speed, and aperture work.  I used Nikon film cameras until I went digital in 1998.  I now use a Nikon D-810. 

I'm retired and live near the Canadian border.  I earned an MS in biochemistry, and I am immensely curious about science, nature, and the people I meet.  I have shot tens of thousands of fashion, science, nature, and fine art pics.  I have really enjoyed going to model shoots and fashion shows. I take great pictures, but I am truly an amateur.
