His first encounters with art were thanks to his father, names like Mozart, Khalil Gibran and Ansel Adams gave the necessary knowledge to someday be able to follow a dream as those he admired . Undecided towards his future decided to enter the University and there he receive his first photography class , that first love was just beginning to be born.

His first professional camera the Canon 35MM FTQL his father gave him, since then his new love will be photography. Looking for his new love he leaves his academic career as a graphic designer to work for his new passion, exploring photography from diferent perspectives until his first encounter with a lighting lamp his father led him to experiment. His lighting basis were supervised under the strict guardianship of his father. Later started his first independent photographic studio and he receive opportunities abroad in internships with great photographers of fashion and advertising world. Living aside the proposals, two years later ICON is born . Company which currently he is the Director.

Joe Escobar, his photos have been exhibited at Central America Art Museums in publications both editorially and with world-renowned brands campaigns in regional high exposure , his work is also seen in the area of Cinematography in which already has won two awards with short independent Switching Frequency of which he was a senior tutor and producer.

With high experience Joe rules his work always with commitment, passion a little of madness and love for what he does.
