An Amateur who started in photography developing prints in the dark room at the age of 10 and occasionally being allowed to take photos. Once starting to work, was able to progress skills and kit in 20's and 30's. Had my own colour darkroom doing Ciba Chrome enlargements. As a photo club member was able to do photo shoots with instruction and help. Did photography in my work as a professional town planner and worked with professional photographers on various projects over the years. With a family, the photo hobby took a back seat but was able to do a number of weddings for family members. With retirement I have the time and spare funds to sharpen up skills in digital age. Using expensive film I never arrived at the point where I felt confident in what I was doing. Correction time.
