Destiny Marie

The bodacious Destiny Marie is an aspiring plus sized model who hails from the Golden State. Born of African American and Puerto Rican descent, she has the sugar and spice and all things nice! Growing up, Destiny Marie had spunk and a personality that could light the darkest places, but she couldn't escape the stigma of being known as the big girl with the pretty face. Years of this branding led Destiny Marie to feel insecure and uncomfortable in her own skin. It wasn't until she reached deep inside herself and found true love. Determined to make a name for herself and reach her goals, Destiny Marie began her weight loss journey. She found the love of her life, started a family, and lost a lot of weight during this beautiful time in her life. With a new found confidence, Destiny Marie ventured into the plus sized modeling world. In it, she found a place where she could creatively and artistically express herself and feel comfortable and accepted. Even if for only a few hours at a time, Destiny Marie lives for the spotlight, poised in class and free of doubt and hesitation.

Since the start of her plus sized modeling adventure, Destiny Marie has been published in On Point Magazine, May 2015 Issue 2 (Pinup). Eager for more, you can find Destiny Marie in the July issue of On Point Magazine as a cowgirl, Black pinup in the July/August issue, and a feature in Drive In Magazine in August. Also, she is set to be a part of an upcoming fashion show in December 2015.
