Creative Bio

Vincent Pogue recently served as an in-house photographer and videographer for the Philadelphia Candy Factory recording studio. While there, he produced and directed the visuals for “A Song for Vienna”, and wrote and directed an internet commercial promoting the Philadelphia Candy Factory on YouTube. As a photographer, Vincent’s print work has been published in a number of publications, including Essence magazine, local newspapers such as The Leader, The Germantown Courier, and the Atlanta Arts Metro. His photography was featured on the cover of the Wyeth-Ayerst Laboratories company newsletter which had a worldwide distribution to all Wyeth-Ayerst locations. Vincent also works as the in- house photographer for the Jarell Christopher Seay Love and Laughter Foundation. Vincent’s portrait photography was also included in the book Connecting People With Art: African American Art by Evelyn and Mercer Redcross.
Vincent’s work on film is burgeoning, with challenging projects pushing his sensibilities. His film work includes Cinematographer for the independent film, Silver and Gold. His highly successful directorial debut was Just Another Day, a music video for the song written and performed by artist Lisa Anderson. Just Another Day was entered in several international film festivals and was honored by being selected in the Barcelona Planet and Wimberley Film Festivals.
