Shoot something like this

About Me

Started out MANY years ago doing landscape and wildlife. I have transitioned over the years to include astro (shooting the stars, galaxies, etc) and people. I prefer, when shooting people, to work on concepts that I have and want to present. I have been published, but do not care for that process and it's requirements. I shoot now for the express purpose of adding to my portfolio those things that I like (Art and all it's wonderfully varying forms).

I prefer communications prior to a shoot and not just over email.

For clarification regarding nudity: I do not want to shoot nudes. However, implied, in it's varying forms, I think lends itself to so many areas and adds some really wonderful elements to a shot.

WANTED:

Looking for someone with an adventurous mentality and wants to go find unique places to shoot. Someone who has an artistic nature and wants to help create the things you see in your head.

I do have, like you, some requirements.

1. If we have never worked together before then expect I will want to shoot TFP. I need to know that you can do the job, know how to present some emotion, know your angles, skin tone, structure, etc.

2. If we have been in discussions and you, for some reason simply stop the communications, and then down the road respond to an advertisement for a shoot, rest assured I will not consider you. (it is not unreasonable to expect, that if you didn't follow thru the first time you will follow thru a second).

3. I expect to have a fully disclosed, discussed and agreed upon concept BEFORE we shoot.

4. I find it extremely rude and unprofessional for you to show up late and unprepared.

5. I have a 15 minute rule, if we are to shoot at 3pm and by 3:15 you haven't arrived, or you show and still need to do your makeup, get on proper attire, etc, the agreed upon shoot is voided. Consider this mutual, if I fail to show on time and am unprepared, then you can void the shoot as well (however, you will find this will not happen).

6. If you feel the need for a chaperone, that is fine, however, there is little tolerance for any interruption, drama, chaos, etc. If you bring someone, then they need to be informed of some rules and how to act in a professional manner. Meaning, no drugs, no alcohol, no weapons, and again NO drama.

7. You will notify, in advance of the shoot, meaning while discussions are on-going, that you are bringing a chaperone.

I respect that you, too, will have requirements, being as you've probably experienced some unprofessional behavior from photographers. As such you can expect that I will comply with your requirements as much as you comply with mine. However, the simple act of being mature and professional goes a long way.

I am rebuilding my portfolio. Not because I want to, but because I need to.

Technology is awesome, until it isn't.

I am very seriously interested in shooting just about every genre.
