I am a female photographer born in Lima, Peru and immigrated to New York City as a young child. The rich, diverse and hyper-dynamic cultural scene that New York has to offer was and remains fertile ground to nourish, nurture and challenge my passion for photography, music, film and the arts.

Experienced in print media as a Photo Editor has contributed to my visual storytelling skills, which helped me evolve as a photographer. Working behind the scenes I’m able to document the journey of an artist’s work in the recording studio. As a set photographer for a TV show/ feature film I’m able to document the production day, as well as being an extension of the director’s creativity and vision. As a concert photographer, I have to be resourceful; the challenge is to focus, frame and capture emotions in imperfect and difficult conditions. Working in the photo studio and on-location with fashion models, recording artists, actors and dancers, I have an understanding of different lighting techniques to convey mood and style.

My work has been featured in CD/DVD packaging and in countless publicity and promotional material for major artists in music and in theater. I have been published internationally in publications such as Rolling Stone Magazine, Revolver Magazine, Nash Country Weekly Magazine, Billboard Magazine and the Hollywood Reporter. I work with record companies such as Sony Music, Concord Records, Wildflower Records, Razor & Tie, National Records, Universal Music Group and Warner Music.

I’m currently a freelance photographer in the areas of music/entertainment and portrait photography. I share my time between New York City and Nashville.
