When I got my first point and shoot camera at age 10, it rarely left my side. I immediately became obsessed with taking photos, capturing light & freezing time. I was so intrigued by photography and all of the possibilities that came along with it. Throughout high school I took every art/photography course I could, and would be editing photos in all of my other classes in between. I taught myself how to use a DSLR and was constantly researching creative ways to make my photography the best it could be. After graduating from high school in Hobe Sound, Fl. I picked up and moved to New York City to start my intensive year of study at The International Center of Photography. I studied studio/on location lighting in depth as well as photoshop and digital fine art printing. I spent hours under the cloth of a large format camera & developing my film in the darkroom. I was pushed to find my style and voice in my work. I find beauty in mundane places; the way I see the world is in photographs. I strive to make my models feel and look beautiful so they enjoy the shoot as much as I do. Simply put, photography is an everlasting part of my being. Whether I am photographing models, families, events or simple head shots I put all of my creative, positive energy into achieving the best possible image. Photography is not just my lively hood, it is my life’s passion.
