As a product of a landmark generation that gave birth to countless superstars, Joy B came into existence on September 20th 1989. Born as Tauri Joy Bailey in Long Island, New York, and raised in the heart of Brooklyn, New York, a young Joy quickly took interest in the fashion industry and the appeal of its models. Faced with many obstacles from a troubled home Joy would use her peaking interest of becoming a model to keep her spirits uplifted and motivated. Later in 2008 she would relocate to North Carolina. It was there that her determination to pursue her lifelong desire of becoming a fashion model would materialize. Ever since that day she has continued to set the local entertainment industry on fire!
