I started thinking about body painting a few years ago while I was studying Chinese calligraphy and brushstroke painting at Naropa university. First I was inspired to paint human figures with the traditional Chinese ink brush and using calligraphy techniques. This eventually led me to explore painting on actual bodies, fusing movement, subject, and medium all in one dance.

I am very interested in collaborative projects, particularly with performers, dancers, and installation artists.
