About Me

I've been a professional photographer for over a decade shooting interiors and architecture (www.basilephoto.com). I also shoot some antique process photography, specifically wet plate collodion portraits and landscapes. It is an amazing process and the shoots are really fun. This is not digital photography. I shoot with large format cameras, up to 11x14. The images are shot on metal and glass and must be developed immediately after they are shot. I'm not going to take a thousand pictures and hope for a couple good ones, WE are going to craft each image very carefully, and make some kick ass photographs that will last for centuries.
