Hi my name's Jeff and I'm a wet plate photographer. All the photos I take are poured on glass plates and exposed on a ultra large format camera (12x20). The final image is printed on gelatin coated watercolor paper and brushed with lithographic ink in a process called The Rawlins Oil Process, which is like lithography. I've tried to represent my photos as best as I can here, but they are photographs of photographs so the quality isn't as good as the originals.
I'm inspired by the styles of the Pictoralist movement of the early 1900's but try to implement more contemporary compositions. I've been shooting for 25 years off and on and absolutely love it!
I'm looking for models that are interested in creating a piece of art rather than just pretty pictures.
