My background as photographer started out in college as a journalist. I played with idea of shooting images for a number of years before I received some formal training through the Seattle Art Institute studying event and portrait photography while working as a manager in my first long term job (20 years).

Over the years I have photographed weddings, portraits, sports, musicians and landscapes. I've finally come to the conclusion that I really need to move forward with my passion for photography. For many, many years I have woke up (still do) in the middle of the night with ideas to create. I put those ideas on the back burner to work at jobs I hated just to make a living all the while working long hours with very little time to pursue my passion.

Moving forward my goals are to discover talent for creating my projects. My projects involve recreating painting and other concepts that I documented for a while. My goal is to create and complete three fine art projects (for Exhibition) while building my portfolio and continue shooting portraiture and sports.

In short I love adventure and working with creative people. I enjoy making the connection with people while telling their story. It's time to make these ideas happen.
