Evocative ….. Imaging is all about light. Cameras are just tools and virtually any camera these days, will produce technically good results. Attention to light and composition is so important and the end results should be emotive and beautiful to look at.

I like my work to go beyond the conventional and to offer my subjects a unique insight into those moments which define them.

My passion for photography began from an early age. Some of my first memories are of the great shots from the 60’s Donovan, Bailey, Parkinson and in particular, Duffy’s ad campaign for Benson & Hedges. Even today, it is still considered to be a landmark in advertising photography.

Over the years my journey into photography has continued. Concert and portrait photography are my true passions, but Travel & Landscape also feature heavily.

Working as a semi-professional allows me to pick and choose commissions - assignments and gives me a great deal of artistic freedom.

Quality and artistic content is always a priority. Photography should not be disposable, even in the iPhone age. Images should capture a moment in time, that will never come back. It is an art form and something to be treasured.
