About Me

--Current Updates--
I am always looking for new models to work with. I will continue to always have a place for time for prints shoots.  These shoots give me the time and freedom to work on new technique, experiment with different equipment and explore new locations and settings.

Update: March 2024 - I have started putting together more conceptional work and trying out new styles or revisiting old styles to make sure I stay sharp. I am also trying to work on helping new models to build their portfolio and learn the art of modeling. If you have an idea or concept that you would like to try or if you need help building your portfolio drop me a line.

--History/Bio--
After serving in the US Air Force, I found myself hurt and looking for work that allowed me to work around my physical disabilities. Having over 15 years of experience in creating websites I turned that into a career.  As a part of it I shot all my own images and textures but never wanted to or thought of myself as a photographer. In October 2014, my sister asked me to photograph her wedding.  Using a small point and shoot I did my best to capture all the important shots.  After delivering the images everyone around me started telling me that I should become a photographer. That Christmas my wife bought me a DSLR and with the urging and support of my family and friends, I started to learn the art of photography. That was more than a few years ago and I continue to learn and hone my craft every day.

--Style--
My style has become "real life but better", I love vibrant colors and retouch images to match the mood that the shoot is trying to convey.  I do not slap presets on my photos and call them good and I never deliver images that are not finalized nor do I give out my raw files unless an arrangement to buy them is made prior to the photoshoot.  My ultimate goal on a photoshoot is to make art that makes you and my work look their best.

--What to Expect--
What to expect at a photoshoot?  I try to be a consummate gentleman, meaning I will treat you with the utmost respect and expect the same from you.  That being said, photoshoots are casual.  I want you to be comfortable so if we have to take some time and just talk before the camera comes out I am fine with that.  I have a philosophy that it is far easier to take good images of a comfortable model than an uncomfortable one. The awkwardness will shine through so I would rather take the time to make you feel comfortable than to waste a whole shoot.  This is especially important on my intimate shoots and I build in a lot of time when scheduling to accommodate the non-shooting time (Note: Intimate shoots are Paid Assignments unless otherwise agreed upon).
