Hii, I'm Brandon; I'm 16 years young from New York City. Recently, I’ve noticed that I don't have the ugliest body on earth as I thought I did and so I decided to take some pictures of myself. I love taking shots of myself shirtless, but I can rock any type of clothing (I believe), I know my face, and my body is a mess with my terrible and atrocious acne but that hasn’t stop me yet and I am really determined to become the model I want to be. I remember when I was younger thinking being a model was wrong for a guy, I'd always watch Project Runway or ANTM with my mother and I’d always see nothing but female models. I remember walking like a model - or at least trying to - in my hallway in my small apartment and my mother would almost catch me and I play it off like I wasn’t doing anything. Now as I said above, recently I fell in love with my body, and I would pose in the mirror or set my phone down somewhere and just pose. I have an Instagram page so I’d usually post it there without my parents finding out. The photos I’d usually take are kind of sexualized for a boy my age. Some are just me in my underwear or in just pants showing off my chest while others are just me in casual clothing. Never anything avant-garde or over the top to be honest. If I could tell you five random things about myself, it’d say: 1) I am openly gay, 2) I am more feminine then masculine, 3) My style aesthetic would be casually on a budget, mixture between modern and simple with color of course, 4) I was diagnosed with Type-1 diabetes on my best friend’s birthday in 2014 and lastly 5) I know the modeling industry is a tough and serious place to work in (at least I hope it isn’t) but I just want to be happy, have fun, I love the things I do. The camera and filters are like my BFFs and modeling gives me the confidence I needed back in eighth grade. I’m not the smartest, the cutest, none of that stuff, but I just want to be me and model, and that’s all.
