My name is Mollie Banham, I am currently a Media Makeup student at Level 3 and progressing onto level 4 in september. Within the course content they cover hair and makeups for preparation of working on films, television and theatre.
I know that work experience is invaluable to me, these opportunities would help me have a real insight into the industry of film, television and theatre. I have done two weeks work experience with Mustard TV which is a local television studio, I am working closely with the production team and the producers and following a shooting schedule doing their hair and makeups on all the presenters for the different programmes they cover and all the guests that come in. It is a local television company to the region and the programmes they cover are daytime and evening television, topical, business, political, news and sports. I have been looking after the makeup room, making sure it is stocked up, maintained, clean and tidy as well as doing the makeup.
I have also worked with local theatres across the region, I am very hardworking and not afraid to work as a team, I am more than happy to help out with anything that needs to be done. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty and I have a full driver's licence and a car so I am willing to drive and get myself to any location you need me to be. I am very committed to any job I do.
