Based in North Yorkshire on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales.

I am wanting to build on my Portrait Portfolio and to this aim am seeking models male/female to work with on a TFCD basis. The area is North/West Yorkshire, East Lancashire as for any potential shoot I prefer formal portraits but I am open to suggestions. So if you feel you can and would like to help me please contact me.

I am primarily a Landscape photographer wanting to move toward Portrait photography. This came about after taking on several portrait assignments which I enjoyed. For the last three years I have attended the Carnival in Venice to photograph the models some of which I got to know after my first year there and we now seek each other out at the Carnival.

First started out in photography way back in the late 1970’s with a Zenith (Zenit) E which was virtually fully manual but gave me a great grounding in the fundamentals of photography as it made you think hard what you were about to do and made you understand the main ingredient LIGHT.

Portraiture is a fascinating part of Photography as you get to meet people and interact to produce a portrait that portrays the subject or subjects. I prefer portraits in mono as It allows the character of the subject to shine through.
