I'm Alessio Marcucci an Italian photographer living in Tokyo.
I lived and worked for years in Barcelona and I recently moved to Japan.

Despite my first passion was the reportage, by the time I entered more and more in the way of portrait and fashion photography trying to keep a common thread between the different genres, in order to define and mark my photographs of a specific style.

The ability to express and concentrate the essence of an image in a single moment, in a single action or expression has featured my work from the beginning and is still driving my photographic research.

However,it would be very long and probably boring to try to express in words and in details what photography represents for me and my way of interpreting it, so I prefer to let the pictures speak.
